JewishWedding

What do you know about a jewish wedding?

In a jewish wedding there are many steps. First they have a veil ceremoney when the groom looks under the veil to make shure that it is realy his bride that he is getting maried to. The bride and groom are only kids LEARNINGabout a jewish wedding.

Then a ketubah is signed. After that, everybody comes into the wedding and the bride circles the groom three times, and in some traditions the groom also circles the bride. Some people do that do that because they believe that the circle that they make around each other keeps the bad things out of their lives.

Next comes the kiddushin, the part of the ceremoney when the rings are exchanged. After all of this the Sheva Brachot (the 7 blessings) is either sung or said. The last thing that there is in the wedding that I know about is the breaking of the glass which the groom usually does.
