SukkotThe holiday of sukkot...Sukkot is an agricultural holiday. It is one of the 3 holidays in the Torah when the Jews went to the temple in Jerusalem?. On sukkot we eat and sometime sleep in a sukkah which is like a small temporary fort. And, we shake the lulav and citrus fruit called an etrog which smells nice. Some people sleep in the sukkah, most people eat in it. People decorate their sukkah sometimes with hanging fruits. |
