Tashlich

Do you know about tashlich?

If not, this is a page you might want to read. Tashlich means "to cast away"/"get rid of your sins or bad doings." Jews use bread crumbs to throw into a lake or pond. The bread crumbs symbolize sins. We throw them into the water because we belive that it rids us from our sins so that we can start a new year. When we throw the bread we say what we did wrong, and ask them for forgiveness. We always try to do better the next year.
